Firm Overview

Tim R. Karstetter was admitted to the Kansas, State and Federal Bars in 1974 and began practicing in McPherson, Kansas, in September of that year as a solo practitioner. Tim was an Assistant McPherson County Attorney from January 1975 until January 1977, when he took office as McPherson County Attorney, subsequent to his election to that position. He served in that capacity until September, 1983.

John B. Klenda was admitted to the Kansas, State and Federal Bars in 1980 and became an Assistant McPherson County Attorney in September 1980, serving in that capacity until September, 1983. At that time, he became the McPherson County Attorney, and served until January, 1985. Tim and John formed the firm of Karstetter & Klenda in August, 1988.

While Karstetter & Klenda, L.L.C. is a firm engaged in the general practice of law, there are a number of areas which the firm emphasizes. The firm has tried hundreds of cases to juries and Courts. Commercial litigation, personal injury, domestic matters, real estate and wills and estates are some areas in which the firm practices.
